I always get asked the question, what do you do for cardio? I personally prefer shorter cardio workouts with a higher intensity (HIIT) than long periods of steady state cardio. Higher intensity workouts help you to burn fat faster while allowing you to maintain your muscle mass.
Here is a short, introduction to HIIT that you can try either in the gym or in your own home. You can try it a couple times a week on its own, or add it to the end of your strength or weight training workouts as a burnout!
