I absolutely LOVE yogurt. Its an amazing, convenient snack that’s packed with protein. You can eat it plain, put it in smoothies, use it in savory dishes or make yummy parfaits! The parfait we are going to make today only takes three ingredients, and is perfect to eat as a snack or before a workout.
- 1 5.3oz cup OIKOS Strawberry Triple Zero Greek yogurt
- 2 or 3 strawberries, cut into cubes
- Open Nature Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut Heaven Granola (any granola will do)
Take your yogurt cup, I love using OIKOS Triple Zero because it’s high in protein (15g) and lower in sugar (7g).It also has no added sugar, artificial sweeteners, or fat. Be careful with yogurt, they are a great source of protein, but some small cups have over 20g of sugar. Yikes, that’s like eating cake frosting…..
Anyway, spoon half the yogurt into a mason jar or container. Next top with granola and half of your chopped strawberries.
Spoon in the other half of your yogurt, then top with more granola and the rest of the strawberries and your done! Your delicious protein snack is ready to be devoured. Enjoy!
TIP: You can use any granola, but just like the yogurt, it can be packed with sugar. To keep it healthy, check the nutrition facts and go with brands like Open Nature. The granola I used has 15g of whole grains per serving, no artificial flavors or colors, and no artificial preservatives or ingredients.
